With a background that spans the owner, engineering, and vendor sides of the industry, Aaron offers a 360-degree perspective on the challenges and opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and resource development.

Aaron leads Thompson’s strategic growth with a focus on diversification, safety, and innovation. He is passionate about workforce development and building strong partnerships that shape the future of Canada’s infrastructure.

With over 25 years in the construction industry, Ashley Scraba brings a rare blend of field-tested experience and executive leadership to his role at Thompson Construction Group. From his early days on the job site to his current role in the boardroom, Ashley’s career reflects a deep understanding of the full project lifecycle.

As Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy, he leads the company’s growth initiatives, forges key partnerships, and ensures operational alignment across estimating, resourcing, and field execution. Known for his grounded leadership and collaborative style, Ashley is driven by results that matter—both for the company and the people behind every project.

As Vice President of Builders and Infrastructure, Brad Quartel provides executive leadership across two key divisions of Thompson Construction Group — vertical construction and civil infrastructure. In this role, Brad works closely with teams across the company to ensure operational excellence and a consistent, client-focused approach to project delivery.

With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Brad combines a grounded, people-first leadership style with a deep commitment to delivering value — whether projects are managed independently or through integrated delivery models. Guided by the belief that “the project is the boss,” Brad continues to drive innovation, growth, and exceptional service as Thompson expands its reach and capabilities across in key markets across Canada.

With more than 20 years of financial leadership experience, Travis brings deep expertise in accounting, capital management, and operational finance across the civil and mining sectors. A graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, he holds both CMA and CPA designations.

Throughout his career, Travis has supported complex, large-scale operations. His experience spans corporate finance, project-based environments, audit, and financial controls, giving him a comprehensive understanding of both strategic and operational financial management.

He plays a key role in aligning financial strategy with business growth, supporting operational execution, and ensuring long-term financial stability across the organization.
