Thompson Construction Group has a current opening for a Site Administrator supporting operations in the Fort McMurray area. This position is a Fly-In/Fly-Out (FIFO) role and requires working on site while staying in camp on a rotational schedule.
The Site Administrator plays a key role in supporting site operations through accurate data entry, documentation control, and effective communication between site teams and head office.
Responsibilities:
- Review, track, and enter daily reports, including overhead and maintenance data
- Enter and reconcile payroll and equipment hours
- Cross-reference daily swipe data to balance LEMs
- Act as a liaison between site teams and head office to support effective communication
- Build and maintain working relationships with site teams and client representatives
- Manage employee and subcontractor documentation
- Complete and submit internal and client-required reports
- Coordinate vehicle pass requests as required
- Maintain and update equipment documentation
- Create and manage tracking documents to support operational needs
- Provide administrative support to site management and field crews
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a construction or industrial environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong technical writing skills
- Experience with CDMS/Fieldglass considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- CSO certification
- Ability to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to work a FIFO rotational schedule and reside in camp
