A signed letter of acknowledgement on Company letterhead stating that the below listed items have been read, understood and will be submitted according to schedule. (Add at bottom of Section)

• All Sub-contractors (Including their sub-contractors) working with TCG shall develop, present, and implement a program to support their written Health & Safety management policies.
• A pre-job hazard assessment (JSA) for the scope of work being performed must be written to identify the hazards and mitigations that will be used throughout the duration of the job. The hazard assessment is to be reviewed with the work force and signed having understood its intent. Upon completion of the above requirements the document will be submitted to the onsite TCG safety representative for review and electronic housing. (Copies will be made to ensure the sub-contractor maintains possession of the original document.)
• Additional hazard assessments in the form of daily toolbox talks (Completed by the attending supervisor) and FLHA cards (Completed by individual worker/s specific to the tasks being performed) are reviewed with the work force in the same manner as the overall hazard assessment (JSA) and submitted daily to the onsite TCG safety representative for review. (Copies will be made to ensure the sub-contractor maintains possession of the original document.)
• Competency evaluations are to be completed as close to immediately as practicable as personnel arrive onsite &/or when personnel are being utilized in a variety of different types of work/roles. Upon completion of the evaluation, it is then signed by the supervisor, reviewed with and signed by the worker. These documents are to be submitted for review and tracking by the onsite TCG safety representative.  (Copies will be made to ensure the sub-contractor maintains possession of the original document.)
• All sub-contractors will have Safe Work Practices and Procedures available for review.
• Safe Work Practices and Procedures used by the work force have been reviewed and signed by the workers having understood how to perform the applicable tasks safely. These documents are to be submitted in the same way as the above-mentioned requirements. (Copies will be made to ensure the sub-contractor maintains possession of the original document.

• All sub-contractors are required to attend TCG company and site-specific orientations.
• All sub-contractors will be held responsible for ensuring their employees comply with all applicable OH&S Act, Regulation and Code.
• All sub-contractors are responsible for the management of all visitors, inspectors, service personnel or delivery people ensuring that they meet all site access requirements.
• All sub-contractors must provide documented competencies for all supervisors to ensure that they are adequately trained to perform the tasks assigned. Training requirements and support documentation are, but not limited to the following:

• • • Construction Safety Training System
    • Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA)
    • Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)
    • Valid Driver License
    • Negative Drug & Alcohol Test
    • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)

• All sub-contractors will facilitate safety meetings with their work force and provide the onsite TCG safety representative with minutes and a signature page for those in attendance. All sub-contractors must attend TBCLP’s weekly safety meeting where none are performed at the sub-contractor’s initiative. (Copies will be made to ensure the sub-contractor maintains possession of the original document.
• All sub-contractors will immediately report all near misses and incidents to TCG site management. Where these notifications are concerned, investigations will be performed, control actions to prevent re-occurrence will be written and completed for closure to the benefit & satisfaction of all.
• All sub-contractors will complete weekly general inspections of their work areas and submit the completed document to the onsite TCG safety representative for review and tracking. (Copies will be made to ensure the sub-contractor maintains possession of the original document.) 

• • • All sub-contractors will meet the following PPE requirements:
    • CSA approved hardhat
    • CSA steel toed boots
    • High visibility safety vest
    • Gloves
    • Safety glasses
    • Long sleeve shirts or coveralls
    • Specialized PPE where required according to MSDS &/or the hazard assessment.
• All sub-contractors will abide by client and contractor rules, standards and policies as they apply and to the highest degree of safety.
