Thompson currently has an immediate opening for a Site Administrator in a steadily growing and remote location in the Fort McMurray area. The Site Administrator will be accountable for accurate data entry and the coordination of logistics relating to crew members. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded, meticulous in accuracy and an expert in communication.
Responsibilities:
- Review, track and enter all reports, overhead and maintenance
- Enter and balance payroll hours and equipment hours to ensure everyone is accounted for in fatigue management
- Balance LEMs by cross-referencing daily swipe data
- Effectively communicate and liaison critical information between site and head office
- Build and maintain relationships with integral team members and the client representatives
- Manage employee / subcontractor related documentation
- Issue and track purchase orders and corresponding invoicing
- Complete and submit various internal and client required reports
- Request for vehicle passes as required
- Update and maintain equipment related documentation
- Issue and track purchase orders and corresponding invoicing
- Maintain and / or create various tracking documents
- Overall site support for management and crew
- Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of administration experience
- 1+ years of earthworks construction experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work as a cohesive team
- Must maintain a positive attitude and have ability to work with minimal supervision
- Thorough knowledge of heavy equipment and its functions
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office program
- Able to work under pressure and under strict deadlines
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CSTS/OSSA, BSO or CSO Certification
- Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Be willing to work on an assigned rotational schedule and stay in local/camp accommodations
