Planning
Thompson Infrastructure was contracted to install underground utilities in mature areas of the City of Edmonton to assist in flood mitigation and management of the areas for the existing residents. This entailed retrofitting existing underutilized green spaces into naturalized storm management facilities and functioning dry ponds with modern sports fields intended for community recreation and supplying up to date residential amenities. In addition to the new green space facilities, these neighborhoods have also received an upgrade on the storm lines throughout the area to increase flow capacities on their roadways and residential services.
